There are many of my regular readers who receive my posts via the email subscription widget in the right sidebar. For a couple of years, I have used MailPoet to send those notifications out. There was a period of time when I was using Jetpack for the service and I will be using it again. Starting with this post, Jetpack will be taking over the emailing of the notifications. Some of you will receive two emails; one from MailPoet and one from Jetpack. This is because you have already subscribed via Jetpack when I used it previously. The rest of you will only receive the notification of this post from MailPoet. If that is the case, and you wish to continue receiving notifications via email, you will have to subscribe to the Jetpack service. That will assure you will not miss a single post. In a couple of days after this post is published, I will disable and remove the MailPoet plugin. No duplicate emails will be sent.
